Professional Context Styling for Men: Office, Events, and In Between

About this masterclass

Professional dress codes have shifted considerably, but that has made things harder, not easier. When everything is technically acceptable, knowing what actually communicates credibility, attention to detail, and self-awareness requires more skill than it did when rules were stricter.

This intensive is built around one central question: what does your clothing communicate in the rooms you actually enter? We work through that question across three professional contexts — everyday office or client-facing work, formal business events, and smart-casual settings like networking dinners or team off-sites.

The practical focus

Each evening session runs three hours. The first evening covers the fundamentals of professional fit and the difference between formal, business casual, and smart casual in practical terms. You will look at real outfit examples and identify what works and what creates unintended impressions.

The second evening shifts to personal application. You bring photos of outfits you currently wear to professional settings. We work through them with specific, honest feedback. The goal is not a complete overhaul — it is identifying the smallest changes that create the clearest improvement.

Who teaches this

Instructor Sabine Prokop has consulted on professional image for corporate clients in finance, legal, and tech sectors. She approaches styling as a communication problem, not a fashion problem, which keeps the focus on function rather than trend-chasing.

Participants leave with a context-specific outfit formula for each of the three settings covered, plus guidance on where to invest if their current wardrobe has specific gaps. No pressure to buy anything — the emphasis is on working with what you have first.

Styling takes time to develop. Results depend on how consistently you apply what you learn — every session builds on the last.
