Wardrobe Foundations: A Practical Styling Workshop for Men

About this masterclass

Most men's wardrobes have the same problem: plenty of clothes, nothing that connects. You reach for the same three items because everything else either fits poorly, clashes, or belongs to a version of yourself from five years ago.

This workshop addresses that gap directly. Over one full day, you will go through the mechanics of fit, how proportion affects how you look on camera and in person, and which garment categories give you the most range with the least investment.

What the session covers

We start with body proportion — not as a confidence exercise, but as a practical tool. Understanding where your shoulder line sits, how trouser break interacts with shoe silhouette, and why collar gap matters more than brand names changes how you shop and how you get dressed.

The afternoon focuses on colour and texture. You will work with a physical fabric and colour swatch system to identify which combinations read well in different lighting conditions, including artificial office light and daylight outdoors.

About the format

Groups are kept small — eight people maximum — so there is time for individual feedback. Bring three outfits you currently wear. We will work through each one and identify specific adjustments: hemming, substitutions, layering changes. Nothing abstract.

The instructor, Florian Vadas, has worked in menswear retail consulting for over a decade and has helped clients ranging from recent graduates to senior executives rethink how they present themselves at work and outside it.

You leave with a written style reference card specific to your proportions and colour range, plus a prioritised shopping list if your wardrobe needs new pieces.

Styling takes time to develop. Results depend on how consistently you apply what you learn — every session builds on the last.
